This is a very basic example of an editing method called the "Out Of Bounds" (OOB) technique. The general idea is to make the subject appear as though it is stepping out of the main setting of the photo. I have a few great examples of photos that utilize this technique, but I'm not sure if I can convert them to a wallpaper. Perhaps I can post some links to some of these photos at a future time.
I love pewter figures and statuettes. The coloration you see here was achieved with my trusty photo editor.
Hey, all you dog lovers, meet Lacey. She is a bichon frise with a dab of poodle. I don't know if that makes her a 'pochon' or a 'bichle'... in any case, we all love her to death!!
This was a very nervous little critter. I could tell because hr was just so jumpy....... Anyway, a telescopic lens helped keep me at a comfortable enough distance to snap this shot. The photo was processed to yield an artistic look.
